Are you a woman in business who wants to make a di Are you a woman in business who wants to make a difference?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you have your eyes set on a goal and want to cut through more effectively?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This one is for you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I first started out my career as a lawyer, I had no idea the shark infested waters I was diving into. Within the first 3 months of starting at a commercial law firm, I found myself the target of a Senior Partner who made it his mission to school me. Whether it was critiquing my outfits, bagging my public school education, controlling who I lunched with, he was very clear about my career limitations as a female lawyer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Following that, I moved into the public sector, where I found myself reporting to a manager who was highly manipulative, controlling and incompetent and left a trail of deception to cover her tracks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The workforce is a minefield and if you want to rise, you absolutely need every tool in your tool belt. You need alignment and strength within yourself. As women we are socialised to manage our appearance and likeability (on top of our job performance) so ignoring your mindset and image will ultimately cost you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why I have developed a unique approach called style coaching, to support driven women. I have found that when you have an internal clarity, when you manage your mindset and when your style is working for you, your goals are that much easier to reach, no matter what you are up against. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you wanting more tools to reach your goals? Do you want to learn how to augment your abilities with a signature style strategy?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Get in touch today. I always set aside time to speak to women just like you, wanting to level up but knowing that the system is flawed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s just over a week until International Women’s Day and lately I’ve been thinking about what it means to be a woman.

I love that I am strong, in my stamina, that I can call on relationships for support and connection, I love the way my body moves and feels and loves, I love my mind but equally I love my hearts wisdom, that is embodied in every cell. I love that I can discern truth in a millisecond when I trust my inner knowing, I love that I don’t waste time competing or chest beating, that I know who I am. I love that I can look deep into peoples eyes and see it all.

And yet, being a woman is probably one of the least interesting aspects of my identity.
.
I think that for both men and women, the spectrum is far more interesting and that our nature, talents and energy overlap far more than we realise. It is our experience in this world that separates us. History has shown the destructive results of men being in a position of dominance over women and I am convinced that changing the status quo will benefit us all.

But first, we need to remove the stigma of femininity. We need to weed out the lies from our thinking which say that women are less than, somehow funny or inadequate.

And that starts in us. In believing the power inside of us that roars, that we were destined for more. And we need to stand up and insist on more. More choice, more opportunity, more support, more results, more say, more love and more solidarity. With each other and with men.

Join me on March 8th for a special event celebrating women.

Let’s have conversations about what it would look like to see a healthy partnership between men and women in leading and creating together and what needs to change in order to make that happen.

ARE YOU A FELLOW MATHS NERD?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember when your maths teacher was introducing a new concept and someone would always put their hand up and ask “like, when are we even going to use this in real life?”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The answer my friends is TODAY.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭. 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐬 $𝟏𝟒𝟗 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐬 $𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟕 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

𝐀: ($𝟏𝟒𝟗 + $𝟏𝟎𝟎)/𝟏𝟕= $𝟏𝟒.𝟔𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Compare this with the Kmart purchase that was $30 and worn twice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes you have to crunch the numbers before you decide if something is expensive (or alternatively, to explain a purchase to your partner)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Isn’t maths fun?!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
